i'm not familiar with the movie, but i'm pretty damn sure that Tiberius wasn't related to Julius. Tiberius wasn't even related to Augustus except by marriage. he was Livia's son by a previous marriage. perhaps the connection is a remote one through a third cousin twice removed etc, etc, etc...
